PulseQ AC Home

Unlimited Power, Unlimited Versatility, Unlimited Potential

Expanded Compatibility With SAE J1772 (TYPE1) Connector

Using a standard J1772 connector, the PulseQ allows for wide compatibility with electric vehicles with American standard AC charging interfaces or plug-in hybrid vehicles. Coverage includes Tesla (adapter needed), Ford, GM, Volkswagen, Nissan, Audi and more; perfect for users that own more than one electric vehicle.
The EU version of the PulseQ is compatible with most European AC electric vehicles because of the IEC62196-2 Type 2, eliminating most brand barriers toelectric vehicle owners.

Work Easier with Intuitive App

Using the PulseQ's compatible smartphone app; schedule charging times, check charging milage and cost, get fully charged notifications and adjust the charging current. With administrator permissions (the first registered user) the PulseQ can be operated by more than one person simultaneously.

Plug-and-Play & App Control

PulseQ EV Charger of US online version features 2 charging modes: Plug-and-Play and App Control. App Control mode allows you to set charging times, adjust charging current and track all useful data about your car’s charging status with your smartphone. In Plug-and-Play mode, the charging begins as you slot the charger into the vehicle, and you can stop charging by pressing the button on the side of PulseQ to pull out the charger. The smart design will automatically switch into Plug-and-Play mode and continue to charge your vehicles if the App loses connection with the charger.
Note: The PulseQ of the EU version and US dealer version has three charging modes: App Control, Plug-and-Play, and RFID mode, and they cannot switch automatically.

Compact Design & Easy Installation

Compact design and easy installation make the PulseQ a great option for those who want to install an electric vehicle charging station at home. Easily mount the charger on a wall or pole. The PulseQ can even be mounted outside. If an NEMA14-50R outlet is installed and Wi-Fi connected, the charging station can be easily installed in 15 minutes.

FAQ

Operation

Can you program the charger to charge at specific times and to specific levels?

We can currently achieve charging within an agreed time range, such as starting at 6:00 and ending at 9:00. The functionality described this question is still in further development.

Does it notify you when your car is fully charged?

Yes, when the PulseQ finishes a charge the app will notify you via a notification.

Can I just plug it in, or do I have to go through an app?

The app is required to set up the charger and set a maximum rate of charge. Once set up is complete, just plug the charger into the vehicle and let it charge on its own.

Can you choose to charge at 110V or 240V vehicle? (US Online Version)

The voltage of this EV charger is 208/240V and the maximum current is 40A. The current is adjustable, but the voltage cannot be adjusted.

Is the Wi-Fi 5 ghz capable, or only 2.4 ghz?

It is only compatible with 2.4 ghz frequencies due to its longer signal distance versus 5 ghz.

Can I turn the charger on and off remotely from another location?

Yes. The mobile app allows you to turn off/on charging, schedule charging, or exclude times for charging. It also provides you with other information about usage.

How many miles per charging hour? (US Online Version)

It depends on the amperage of the line going to the charger and the capabilities of your EV. Using a hardwired application on a 50amp circuit using the NEMA 14-50 plug will give you about 28 miles of range per hour. You can also set the app to show added mileage.

Can I directly wire this charger to power, or does it have to be plugged in via outlet?

The EV charger can be connected to the power supply through the plug or be wired directly to power.

Does this charger have to be installed inside or can it be outside? (US Online Version)

This EV charger has a NEMA 4 protection rating and can be installed outdoors without being eroded by rain. However, please note that a weatherproof cover should be installed between the N14-50 plug and socket.

Will this unit work on 120V/60HZ? (US Online Version)

This unit only supports 240V.

How may conductors will I need to run the unit? (US Online Version)

240 volt requires two conductors. Wire size varies depending on breaker capacity.

Will this work on a 14-30 NEMA plug? (US Online Version)

No, this comes with a 14-50 plug which is slightly different. You can however rewire the unit to use any 240V standard following the hard wire instructions. Or use an adaptor. It is recommended to have all this work done by a qualified electrician.

All LED are not on.

Please check:
a): Whether the power supply and distribution are normal;
b): Whether the branch breaker is tripped, and close the breaker after troubleshooting;
c): Whether the connection is correct, if the cable comes off, should be properly connected to tighten the cable.
